LaVerne E. Molln, 57 of Walnut died Monday October 28, 2019. He was born on August 5, 1962 in Princeton, the son of Myron R. and Lois (Rempfer) Molln. He was a graduate of Ohio High School and Wyoming Technical Institute. He married the former Linda Kramer on September 1, 1990 in Ohio. LaVerne farmed in the Walnut and Ohio areas. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ohio and had served as a trustee several terms. He was a member of the Board of Directors of First State Bank of Van Orin. LaVerne took after his dad, Myron, farming and making sure whether planting or harvesting- everything was done the best it could be. He loved all his family and going on vacations to Wisconsin with his children and grandchildren. Riding his Harley with his wife Linda or friends around the area was his new found joy, and oh how he enjoyed special times in their new Arizona winter home with new found neighbors and friends. Survivors include his wife, Linda; his mother Lois Molln; his daughters: Dena Doran (Eric May) of Princeton and Chelsey (Jodie) Whipple of Wyanet; his sons: Derek Molln (Deanna Lyman) of Princeton and Andrew Molln of Sheffield; son in law Dave Doran of Ohio; his sister Janice (Bob) Williams of Van Orin; his brothers David Molln (Ann Cobane) of Ohio and Kevin (Missy) Molln of Toulon; grandchildren: Nolan Doran, Madison Doran, Kyle Molln, Kylei Molln, Myah Whipple, Madelyn Whipple, Sawyer and Summer Lyman. He was preceded in death by his father and infant brother Gary. Visitation will be held on Friday November 1, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut and on Saturday from 9 – 9:45 AM at the First Lutheran Church in Ohio. The funeral will follow at 10 AM in the church with the Reverend Gene Vincent officiating. Burial will conclude at Van Orin Repose Cemetery.
